Food is always good...but pretty expensive for a neighborhood breakfast spot that always has a line outside. The seating rules are absolutely ridiculous tho. I arrived early morning (one of the first people there) and in the main room at the back they have 3 "booth" seats that seats 4. 2 booths were filled. I asked to sit back there and was told NO becuz the rules say that they can't put single persons in the booths when more than 2 booths are filled. I also noted that "regulars" didn't have that issue. The crazy thing is, they have a whole other section of the restaurant, but placed me on that side in my own booth. Huh???
Had a lovely brunch with my husband and mother in law at this spot. I can see why this is their go to. Very lively, hustle and bustle atmosphere. The servers were friendly and active (lots of orders to fill). The food was en par with what I expected for such a popular place. My husband ordered the lox Benedict with a hash browns. The lox was fresh and served as a healthy portion, the eggs had a wonderful tasty sauce on them and hash browns were crispy. I ordered a traditional Jewish dish, Matzo Brei that my husband's mother said she would cook for him as a kid, nice throwback. Matzah Brei is matzo, eggs and milk. I ordered mine with salami and onion and a side of apple sauce. Tasted great with some ketchup, even with the derision of my in laws. Had a lovely meal nonetheless and will return in the future!
LOVE Nat's. Been coming here for years. It's always crowded so come early or be prepared to wait. It's usually quick so it's not too bad. It's an old school diner, not much to it. What does make it great are the employees. They must have tons of regulars. The food is delicious. I usually get the chicken friend steak or waffles.
What are the boxes that need to be checked for a perfect breakfast? 1) crispy bacon and crunchy French toast - check 2) plentiful and crispy hashbrowns - check 3) a cornucopia of egg offerings including scrambled and omelette - check 4) spicy fresh salsa - check 5) fresh squeezed orange juice - check 6) a wonderfully attentive and sweet waitress named LuLu - check The only thing lacking perhaps is an incredible cappuccino
I've been to this place a couple of times but never got around to reviewing! Firstly, yes it's crazy busy on Saturday morning but the staff work very fast and efficiently to get the line moving and food does come out pretty fast! We waited about 30 mins around 10:30am today. The staff are all pretty friendly. The lady at the counter who answers the phones and takes payment is always smiling and seems like a nice lady! Our servers were very good too. No messing around at this place, everything is done fast pace and efficiently. My only concern was my partner ordered his scramble then she started taking the menu away when he wanted to order other things too. I thought this was a little rude since she didn't ask if we wanted anything else but it's fine he butt in and said he wasn't done. The strawberry muffin was delicious and warm. Definitely grab a muffin when you're there! My eggs Benedict was standard nothing exciting or to rave about. The English muffins were small but there was a lot of salmon which is good. He said the scramble was good aswell as his side bagel with peanut butter. Overall I wouldn't wait over an hour for the food but if I was in the area and hungry I'd give it a go. Food is a solid 3/5.
Date: April 12, 2024 We checked out this spot once before but it was way too crowded that we didn't wait. Had the chance to stop by this Friday (4/12) because hubs was home for lunch and was so glad we did! There was a wait but it was very quick. Less than 5 minutes. Once seated we were handed menus and our drink order was taken right away. I got the Mexican omelette and was nervous at first because it said spicy salsa so I asked for it on the side but it wasn't spicy at all! It comes with a side, I got hash browns and the lady said it also came with a muffin but I didn't get one this time around . The chorizo wasn't out of this world but it was nice and juicy and lightly seasoned which made it a nice pairing with the egg and salsa. Hash browns were also really good! My baby got the kids chicken tenders with tator tots and it comes with a bun. The chicken tenders and tots were AMAZING!!! omg. We totally didn't expect the tenders to be so good! And only 5.95$?! What a steal!!! Customer service was fantastic and everyone treated us like family! Listening to the others convos only proved that they treated everyone like family and it was so heartwarming. Will definitely be back again!! Thank you so much for the hospitality!
Upon arrival, we noticed groups of people waiting outside the establishment waiting to be sat. Wrote down our name for a party of 2, although 7 parties were ahead of us we were sat within 20 minutes! Menu was bigger than expected. We opted with the eggs Benedict and the large scramble #2 and fresh OJ. Service was quick and friendly. Not the type of place where your server will have a conversation with you, which is a plus in my book. If you're the type to like being checked on multiple times maybe not the place for you. Overall food was at 7.5/10. Not terrible, but definitely not impressed. Parking lot is a mess on the weekends you're better off finding street parking.
Well, I'm not from the area but I was in the area and needed some breakfast so we decided to stop by and give the place a try. Came on a Sunday morning around 9 AM and there was a small wait , put our name in and waited outside . Name was called quick and inside we go . The place was pretty busy inside but the server came up relatively fast, brought us our drinks and took her food order. She was very helpful with making choices from the menu. My son ordered the kids special. My wife got the veggie omelette and I ordered the pork chops and eggs The food was pretty good not the best I've ever had but definitely not the worst either it hits the spot and get you going on a Sunday morning, pork chops were tender and juicy and seasoned well ,the potatoes were a little bland, but hey, they're potatoes so it is what it is. My wife said the omelette was decent also, the star of the show might have been the muffins that we bought when we left the place. I think we got the pineapple upside down monkey something and a strawberry. Also, they do make their own jams, which were absolutely delicious. They can sell that stuff all on its own. If you're looking for a solid little breakfast place that serves good food with good service, then come check this place out and see for yourself like I said decent priced And decent food.
Sometimes you wake up on a Sunday and just know you need a really good muffin. So you search for "muffin" on Yelp and see some many people raving about the muffins at Nat's Early Bite Coffee Shop. This was our first time eating at Nat's but it will not be the last. We showed up around 9 am on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes for our party of 2. The inside is cozy and homey and smells delicious, so you know it's gonna be good. Once we were seated we went to work deciding which muffins to order. Our waitress told us that the Honey Nut Bran muffin is their best one, so obviously we ordered that + a lemon blueberry one. I also ordered the biscuits and gravy and my husband had the chicken fried steak. We also got coffees and these were good too, great flavor. The muffins!!!!! O M G the honey nut bran muffin literally doesn't look like anything special but it's one of the best muffins I've ever had! It's flavorful and nutty and sweet and has this like caramelized top and served warm..... to die for. We ordered another one to go when we left LOL and I cannot wait to eat it later. The lemon blueberry muffin was also very good, but not as special. We loved our breakfasts and cannot wait to add this into our regular rotation of breakfast spots. So good!
